In fact, upon request, a professional art historian will be at your disposal in the Hotel to illustrate the features of the historical and artistic heritage of Bologna and of Emilia Romagna. You will be given some notion and information about masterpieces, monuments and museums of the city, together with an overview about the main historical and artistic sites of Emilia Romagna, about logistics and planning of your trip, about typical and characteristic places and aspects of this land, about curiosities unknown to most people, which could make your stay in Bologna a unique moment in your discovery of Italy.

Info and reservations

You will be provided with information about the works of art, monuments, and museums of the city of Bologna, along with an overview of the main sites of historical and artistic interest in the Emilia-Romagna region, as well as details on logistics, places, and the typical and distinctive features of this area—including some little-known facts—that will make your stay in Bologna a unique experience as you explore Italy.

The Personal Art Service also includes the possibility of veritable lectures about Italian art, for private or for groups, who want to study some aspects in Aula before or after the tours. The lectures, planned in advance, will be held in the Camerino di Europa which contains the first series of paintings performed by the Carraccis (1583) and will include the aid of showings. The prices shall be arranged depending on the number of people and the subjects of the lectures.

Consultation of a professional Art Historian in the Hotel, inclusive of a private guided tour to the important masterpieces which the collection of Grand Hotel Majestic formerly Baglioni consists of.
Tour of Bologna with a professional Art Historian as a guide, to discover its thousand-year old history and the magnificent masterpieces in it preserved. Half Day (10.00-13.00 am, or 15.00-18.00 pm) - Full Day (10.00 am – 18.00 pm)

Tour of the main artistic towns of Emilia Romagna with a professional Art Historian who shall guide you in the discovering of their main masterpieces.

The Personal Art Service is offered by Grand Hotel Majestic exclusively for its guests. For a better planning and scheduling of this service, the customer is asked to request it possibly together with the booking of his stay in Bologna and at least 7 days before the date it should be performed in.
